How did you get started in the scene?
My friend kept telling me about it. He eventually had me tag along on a liquid munch, and I was hooked after that.
What's your current relationship like?
I have a submissive girlfriend, and we've been together for nine months. We don't live together. She is expected to check in with me on a regular basis during the week by phone and text (I travel a lot for work). On the weekends she stays at my place.
What's the best part of being a Dom?
What's the toughest part of being a Dom?
You're responsible for another human being. It's sort of like being a parent, and it takes a lot of planning and energy to keep things going. It can be exhausting at times.
How do you cope with inflicting pain?
Sometimes I do feel bad after, and when that happens we talk about it. I tend to plan everything out well in advance to be safe. I also give good aftercare, and I have a doctor friend that could give treatment if needed. My sub can always stop me, but she almost never does.
Why do you dominate?
I love the feeling of power. I have a Type A personality and have an intense career. BDSM goes well with that and the rest of my life. I also love the sex and having a girlfriend who basically lives to please me.
Would you go mainstream?
No. I think even when I'm older I'll want this type of relationship.
Would you consider marriage and/or kids in a D/s relationship?
Sure. With the right woman I think it would work.
Would you recommend a D/s relationship to your friends?
No. Most Dom wannabes don't have a clue. They go into it for the wrong reasons, and they don't want to take the time to learn how to do things safely. You can easily damage a person's kidneys, or even kill them, if you're not careful.
