The plot focuses around three characters...Marco, Alex, and Jake...who all have serious flaws. Marco has anger issues that made me uncomfortable at times, but in a good way. Alex battles with self-esteem, and Jake, well, I'll let you figure out his issues on your own.
The three are thrown together in a lover's triangle that will keep you interested until the very end. The author wove in plenty of unexpected turns, and one of them completely blew me away. She covered the themes of hope and forgiveness well. There was also plenty of love and redemption, and the sex scenes were quite good.
This book was well written and different than your typical romance novel. The ending was awesome. I highly recommend the book, and I look forward to reading Suzanne Smith's next work.
