The book was about a radio personality named Summer Solstice. She ends up talking to a vampire on the show, and then later meeting him and falling in love. There was a lot of humor written into the story including some hysterical radio ads and sex-toy product names.
The plot moved along nicely, and the two main characters had great chemistry. The author went into some depth on Lucien's character. You could really feel his anguish at being a vampire and being lonely for so many years.
One negative was I knew immediately who the murderer was. However, it did not detract from the book. The real issue was seeing what would happen with this ill-fated couple. Gabriel threw me for a loop at the end, and all I can say is it was deeply satisfying.
